Student-centric methods are used for enhancing learning experiences

The teaching-learning process of the college is learner centric. Every effort is made to make the teaching-learning process interesting, interactive and meaningful. Some of the participatory methods adopted by the university are practical demonstrations, role play, debate, group discussion, home assignments, exhibitions, seminars, field trips and literature surveys. Students are introduced to the learning material before class, with classroom time then being used to deepen understanding through discussion with peers and problem-solving activities facilitated by teachers. Freedom to participate in small research projects for UG helps in improving students teaching learning initiative. Concept of summer research projects initiates the research interest at undergraduate level under the guidance of senior faculties.

Along with the formative examinations, teachers assign seminars and assignments to the students to evaluate their subject understanding in relation to theoretical and practical aspects in order to develop the behavioural needs, communication skills, leadership qualities and also industry based skills.




Majority of the faculty use the innovative techniques like ICT, Computer Simulations, Demos and Models in their teaching. Faculties use digital notes, PowerPoint presentations as preferred e-resources for the respective subjects.

Audio video visuals available on the internet have also been used as one of the resource to simplify the complex ideas. Net browsing facility in the library helps the students to present papers at National Seminars and Workshops.
